This indoor green wall was designed to enhance learning, wellness, and biodiversity at Nuestra Escuela, a non-profit high school dedicated to inclusive education and holistic development. The installation transforms an ordinary wall into a living system that supports ecological awareness, improves air quality, and promotes student well-being. Native and adaptive plant species, including Philodendron hederaceum micans, create a lush tapestry of foliage that requires minimal maintenance while strengthening local ecosystems. The modular planting system was selected for its sustainability, integrating irrigation and thoughtful species selection to regulate indoor temperature and support year-round growth. More than an aesthetic feature, the wall functions as an interactive learning tool, empowering students to engage hands-on with plant care, biodiversity, and environmental responsibility. This project reflects our belief that landscape architecture can inspire future generations and build healthier, more resilient communities.
