This intimate botanical garden reimagines a narrow interstitial corridor of a private residence as a lush retreat dedicated to tropical aroid species. Designed to heighten sensory experience and invite quiet reflection, the project layers Philodendron gloriosum, Monstera deliciosa, Philodendron billietiae, and Epipremnum pinnatum in a composition that celebrates foliage texture, movement, and shadow play. Composite wood paths, boulders, and custom planters create tactile surfaces and subtle transitions. As an evolving space, the garden will incorporate a reflective pond and translucent pergola to enrich the microclimate with water sound and filtered light. The Aroid Garden embodies our philosophy of transforming overlooked spaces into immersive botanical experiences rooted in ecological curiosity and emotional connection.
